The all-new M8 will be coming next year! The 2020 BMW M8 packs up to 617 horsepower and selectable AWD! Road and Track stated that the base M8 coupe and convertible produce 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, while Competition models get an extra 17 hp. The performance promises to be exceptional: BMW says the standard M8 coupe is capable of 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds, and the convertible will do it in 3.2. With the Competition package, those numbers drop by a tenth. Top speed for all models is electronically limited to 155 mph, increasing to 189 mph with the optional M driver's package. Visual upgrades are as you'd expect from a modern M car. There are more aggressive bumpers front and rear, blacked-out exterior trim, and a carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof as standard. Inside, drivers get a new "setup" button that controls settings for engine response, dampers, steering, braking, and xDrive systems. The M mode button on the center console allows the driver to shuffle through Road and Sport modes, with an additional Track mode available for Competition models. Pictured above is the ultra-retro limited edition BMW M2 Competition - Heritage Edition. If you are a fan of BMW's best M vehicle then you would want to get your hands on one of these. The Port Jefferson Senior Prom is not like any other! While most other school districts host their proms in outside venues or at a hall, every year, the Prom Committee in Port Jeff works together for months on end, to create the most elaborate design imaginable for the annual senior prom. Every year, the Prom Committee and several towns, come together to completely transform the high school's gymnasium, cafeteria, and bathrooms, all to fit the theme of the prom. This year, Competition BMW of Smithtown is hosting the senior prom committee's annual golf outing on May 6 to help finance the prom. Tickets will be $150 per person for a full day of 18 holes of golf and afterward, a separate dinner will be held at the Harbor Grill at 6 pm.
