Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) operates as a non-profit, offering housing to families with children battling severe illnesses. With a large global presence, RMHC boasts more than 380 houses and 265 family rooms, spread across 60 countries. Strategically positioned near pediatric hospitals, these facilities enable families to remain in close proximity to their child during the treatment period. We are deeply grateful for the confidence bestowed upon us as we continue to extend aid and encouragement to our community.

 

The Smithtown Performing Arts Center

The Smithtown Performing Arts Center, situated in Smithtown, New York, stands as a cherished non-profit performing arts theater. Since its establishment in 1932, it has been a beacon for talented artists, showcasing mesmerizing music, plays, movies, musicals, and more for over nine decades. As the heart of cultural life in Smithtown, the center provides a diverse array of programming suitable for all age groups. Alongside captivating main-stage productions, the center offers enriching children’s theater, educational classes, invigorating summer camps, and rental opportunities. Our community’s trust humbles us, and we remain devoted to leveraging our resources to assist those in need.

 

One Tree Planted

One Tree Planted is a non-profit environmental charity that plants one tree for every dollar donated. They have planted over 92.7 million trees in more than 80 countries across the globe since 2014. Their work has a number of positive impacts, including restoring forests, creating habitat for biodiversity, and making a positive social impact. There are many ways to get involved with One Tree Planted, including donating, volunteering, and spreading the word. We are dedicated to making our community a better place for everyone

World of Pink Foundation

The World of Pink Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2016 dedicated to providing comprehensive aftercare for women who have undergone all phases of breast surgery, including mastectomies, lumpectomies, reduction, and augmentation. The World of Pink Foundation is committed to helping women regain their confidence and sense of normalcy after breast surgery. They provide high-quality aftercare services at no cost to women, and they are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of women affected by breast cancer. We are passionate about our work and we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Ej’s Pjs

Founded in 2011 by Patricia Poggi and her three sons, Edward, Jeremy, and Patrick, EJ’s PJs is a heartwarming non-profit organization based in Long Island, New York. Their noble cause revolves around collecting brand-new pajamas for children in need. Since its inception, this compassionate initiative has gathered an astonishing number of over 100,000 pajamas. Through strategic partnerships with more than 100 local organizations, including schools, shelters, and social service agencies, EJ’s PJs ensures that the pajamas reach the deserving children who require them the most. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community and we are excited to see what the future holds.

 

Celebrate St. James

Celebrate St. James, a non-profit organization in St. James, New York, is wholeheartedly committed to preserving and promoting the area’s history and culture. Through a diverse array of events, including summer concert series, art exhibits, movie screenings, and family gatherings, they bring the community together, fostering a sense of unity and joy. At the core of their mission lies the preservation of the iconic Calderone Theatre, a historic landmark that has hosted vaudeville shows, movies, and concerts since its establishment in 1925. We are committed to making our community a better place for everyone and we are confident that we can achieve this goal together.

 

Long Island Cares

Established in 1980 by singer-songwriter Harry Chapin, Long Island Cares, Inc. is a compassionate non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and providing essential items to those in need across Long Island. Through a multitude of programs, such as food banks, backpacks for kids, mobile food pantries, and emergency food assistance, they have made an immense difference in the lives of over 2 million people, distributing over 1 billion pounds of food and essentials. We’re very grateful for the opportunity to create a positive impact within our community.

Angels of Long Island

Established in 2015 by Debbie Loesch, Angels of Long Island is a heartfelt non-profit organization devoted to extending supplemental support and resources to individuals facing crisis. With a strong commitment to their community, the organization offers a wide range of services, encompassing a food pantry, clothing closets, baby supplies, financial assistance, and more. They firmly believe that every individual deserves an opportunity to thrive and are dedicated to providing the necessary support to help people regain stability. It is an honor for us to contribute to the growth and success of our community through our assistance.

Guide Dog Foundation

Established in 1946 and headquartered in Smithtown, New York, the Guide Dog Foundation stands as a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals who are blind or have low vision. Their mission is achieved through the provision of guide dogs and comprehensive training, fostering independence and fulfillment. With an impressive track record of over 70,000 guide dogs trained and placed, the foundation serves as an invaluable resource, offering various programs and services, including guide dog training, puppy raising, financial assistance, awareness campaigns, and more. The Guide Dog Foundation’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those with visual impairments truly embodies the spirit of compassion and inclusivity, fostering a more accessible and supportive world for all.

Crime Victims Center

The Crime Victims Center (CVC) in Ronkonkoma, NY is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive support and services to victims of crime. The CVC was founded in 1977. The CVC offers a wide range of services, including 24-hour crisis intervention and support, Accompaniment to medical facilities, Information and referrals to essential resources, and much more. It brings us great joy to be a part of positive change, impacting lives and fostering a brighter future for our community.

 

Island Harvest

Island Harvest, a hunger-relief organization, is committed to eradicating hunger and minimizing food waste on Long Island. As the largest food bank in the region, they make a significant impact by distributing food to more than 500,000 people annually. Their efforts encompass a diverse range of sources, collecting food from grocery stores, restaurants, and farms. Additionally, Island Harvest operates several impactful programs to aid those facing hunger challenges. The BackPack Program ensures children in need receive nourishment over the weekends, while the Healthy Harvest Program provides fresh produce to families, contributing to a healthier and more food-secure community. We are committed to using our resources to help those in need in order to make our community a better place.

Scenic America

Scenic America is a national initiative to protect and restore America’s scenic beauty. They are a non-profit organization that has been working to protect scenic resources since 1972. The program has three main goals: to reduce the proliferation of billboards and other visual blight, to protect and promote scenic byways, and to champion scenic communities. The program has achieved a number of successes in recent years, including helping to stop new billboard construction in hundreds of communities nationwide, securing funding for the National Scenic Byways Program, and working with communities to underground utility lines and protect trees. One of our goals is to better the world around us and we’re very happy to do so.

St. James Chamber of Commerce

The St. James Chamber of Commerce is an organization that represents the interests of businesses in the St. James, New York area. The chamber was founded in 1928 and has over 500 members. The chamber’s mission is to “advance a vibrant business and tourism economy through service, advocacy, networking and innovation.” The chamber accomplishes this mission through a variety of programs and services, including business networking, tourism promotion, education, and more. We are humbled by the trust placed in us, and we strive to uphold the values that define our commitment to service.

 

Academy Volleyball Golf Outing & Hall of Fame Dinner

The Academy Volleyball Golf Outing & Hall of Fame Dinner is an annual event that raises funds for Academy Volleyball, a non-profit organization that provides volleyball training and instruction to boys and girls in the Long Island area. The event features a golf tournament, a dinner, and a ceremony to honor the inductees into the Academy Volleyball Hall of Fame. The golf tournament is a 18-hole scramble, and the dinner is a buffet-style meal. The Hall of Fame ceremony honors individuals who have made significant contributions to Academy Volleyball. The Golf Outing & Hall of Fame Dinner is a great way to support a great organization and to have a fun day of golf and socializing. We take great pride in being a catalyst for positive change, fostering a stronger and more vibrant community.

 

TJ Kelly Memorial Scholarship

The TJ Kelly Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to graduating seniors who have demonstrated the same qualities as TJ Kelly, including his passion for swimming, his commitment to community service, and his dedication to academic excellence. The scholarship is funded by the TJ Kelly Memorial Fund, which was established by TJ’s family after his death in 2017. TJ Kelly was a talented swimmer who competed at the collegiate level at MIT. He was also a dedicated volunteer who worked with Special Olympics and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. TJ was a role model for many young people, and his death was a great loss to his community. Our commitment to making a difference is unwavering, and we are excited to see the lasting impact of our endeavors.

Smithtown High School East

Smithtown High School East is a public high school located in St. James, New York. It is one of two high schools in the Smithtown Central School District. The school was founded in 1962 and currently enrolls over 1,500 students. In addition to its academic offerings, Smithtown High School East also has a strong athletic program. The school’s teams compete in the Suffolk County League I, and they have won numerous championships. The school is also home to a number of clubs and activities, including the student government, the debate team, the drama club, and much more. With each step forward, we are fueled by the belief that together, we can achieve profound and lasting change.
