2021 BMW 4-Series Coupe Gets A Bold New Design

June 5th, 2020 by

The second-generation BMW 4-series coupe will launch worldwide this upcoming fall. The 430i and the M440i will be released at launch and we can expect more variants including an M4 in the near future. The 430i is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four engine that produces 255 horsepower and comes with rear- or all-wheel drive and the M440i is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six and a 48-volt hybrid system that produces 382 horsepower and comes as all-wheel drive.

Car and Driver Magazine shares with us their review on the New 4-Series and everything we need to know about it in their article 2021 BMW 4-Series Get A Bold, Controversial New Face. The 2021 BMW 4-series has been redesigned with a new vertical grille design that features a mesh-type pattern. Although the new grille design triggered much controversy, Car and Driver Magazine shares that BMW has been no stranger to controversial design. For example, models like the Z3 coupe or the electric i3 provoked similarly strong emotions in the past. Car and Driver Magazine believe that BMW is now entering another one of those periodic events.

The new Arctic Race Blue Metallic color adds more excitement for the new 4-series. The kidneys and décor on the M440i are designed in a Cerium Gray which can be substituted with Shadow Line Black. Other optional features include aggressively styled LED lights or laser lights. Car and Driver Magazine shares that although headroom is a bit limited, there is more space for passengers and cargo. The rear seats are comfortable and there is plenty of legroom.
