The 2021 BMW 3-Series offers buyers a great sports sedan that also exudes sophistication and class. In the 2021 model, BMW is no longer offering a manual transmission option but the automatic transmission is just as good.
When it comes to the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia, the styling is also just as good but the sloping roof means that there is little headspace in the backseat. Cabin build is also not as premium as one would expect. Here is a comparison of these two vehicles.
Design & Style
The 2021 BMW 3-Series is designed to combine sporty looks and practical functionality. It achieves this in spadefuls. With flared wheel arches and an aggressive sporty stance, you get a car that is sure to turn heads anywhere you go. The luggage area easily fits 6 suitcases and you have the option of folding the backseat for even more space.
While the 2021 Giulia has a great exterior styling, the interior is a bit of a letdown. There is little head or legroom in the back seat and even less luggage space. The dashboard area is also a little cluttered and looks dated. That being said, the 2021 Giulia’s interior has a premium look and feel to it.
Technology & Safety
With the 2021 BMW 3-Series, you get a host of tech features that are standard in most other cars in this segment. They include an 8-inch infotainment display that is easy to use. The 2021 3-Series features smartphone integration as well as phone charging features.
The 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia also comes with a bevy of tech features. It has a similar-sized 8-inch infotainment display among other tech features. The display has crisp graphics but is also a little sluggish to use. New users will probably need some time to figure the system out.
The 2021 3-Series is powered by the turbocharged four-cylinder engine that adequately powers this amazing sedan. It is responsive and nimble while handling corners with ease. Cabin insulation is superb and the finely-tuned suspension system makes for a comfortable ride.
Just like the 2021 BMW 3-Series, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia has a 2-liter turbocharged engine that delivers a fairly good ride. While ride quality is great, it is not comparable to that of the 2021 3-Series. For example, cabin insulation is not as refined, meaning that the interior can get pretty noisy at high revs.
The Bottom Line
When comparing the 2021 BMW 3-Series with the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia, it is obvious that the 2021 3-Series is the better car. With better cabin styling, better ride quality, and even better tech, the 2021 3-Series easily wins this comparison.
