The 2019 Porsche Cayman comes with a relatively reliable infotainment system that is displayed on a crisp 7.0-inch touchscreen. It provides most of the typical features such as radio and satellite navigation. The touchscreen is easily accessible and the menu is logically laid out. However, it isn’t as easy to operate when driving as compared to the M2 due to the lack of the rotary dials. Besides the usual safety features in most cars, the Cayman has Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) and Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) in place.
Performance
The base six-cylinder, 3.0-liter turbocharged engine in the 2019 BMW M2 can produce up to an excellent 410-horsepower. As compared to the 2019 Porsche Cayman, the four cylinder 2.0-litres turbocharged engine of the Cayman can produce up to 295-horsepower. In addition to being able to reach top speeds, we have found that the engine of the M2 is noticeably quieter as compared to the Cayman, thanks to the M2’s excellent six-cylinder engine.
