Up until now the BMW M2 has served as the compact powerhouse of BMW's lineup. Paired with that power is a six-speed manual transmission. An optional seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is also available, for those who want it. If you need a bit more proof however, consider that the M2 Competition will have a zero to 60 sprint of just 3.9 seconds. That's a full millisecond faster than the older M2.
