As we embark into a new year, the question on the top of many people's minds is: What do the next 300-some-odd days have in store for BMW? Competition BMW of Smithtown, serving Saint James, is happy to tell you - success.
Given expert forecasts put overall auto industry growth at four percent for 2012 and eight percent for the premium segment, BMW is in prime position to thrive, especially within the markets of Latin America (i.e., Brazil), China and India. Depending on what data and analysis determines for the market in Brazil, BMW might even expand facilities there to accommodate booming demand.
BMW also sees significant growth opportunity right here in the U.S. And, while their home country, Germany, might not see as robust of a trajectory in months ahead, BMW will continue to satisfy and develop their consumer base in Europe as well.
What about BMW's carbon fiber initiatives? As you might remember, 2011 saw BMW ally with SLG Group to build a carbon fiber manufacturing plant in Washington state. BMW also gained a 15.7-percent stake in the company to support research and development for more expansive integration of carbon fiber into new BMW models moving forward. At this time, no other future plans have been made for 2012.
That said; the year is still young. Stay tuned to learn exactly the turns BMW decides to take in days ahead. Competition BMW of Smithtown, located at 599 Middle Country Road Saint James, NY 11780 is dedicated to keeping you up to date on all late-breaking BMW news.
