Not only does the new Mission Impossible movie promise a good dose of glitz and action; it's eye candy for BMW enthusiasts. There are a total of four different BMW models featured in the film. And like the cunning, whiles and martial training of lead character Ethan Hunt (played by Tom Cruise), they help make the seemingly impossible Ghost Protocol, well...possible. But, of course Mission Made Possible by BMW just doesn't have the same ring, does it?

First, there is the BMW 650i Coupe, boasting a redesigned, head-turning body and 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine that delivers 400 horsepower. With Onboard Navigation, Traffic Alerts, Voice Command, Bluetooth, Climate Zone Ventilation, Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound System, HD radio, SIRIUS satellite radio, iPod and USB compatibility, active roll stabilization, full-color HUD, lane departure warning and night vision; it just begs to be driven - and fast.

The BMW 650i Coupe's sibling, the super-toned 650i Convertible is also featured in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.  It offers many of the same features and power as the coupe. And given that it can fly from zero to sixty miles per hour in under five seconds, we're not surprised in the least that it made the director's cut.

The BMW X5 sports utility vehicle, which originally launched approximately seven years ago, brings a little more versatility to the film. BMW has reengineered the 2012 model to have more power, innovation and efficiency. With a unique 8-speed automatic transmission, it delivers between 240 hp and 300 hp, depending on trim level, and offers comfortable seating for five.

The BMW movie-goers are apt to remember most, however, might just be the futuristic-looking BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept, which first debuted in 2009. Its uber-sporty styling is matched by the performance experienced in the BMW M and low emissions found in a hybrid. Fans who like how the car performs on the big screen will be happy to know the German automaker is already taking the next step with the vehicle: producing a series-production ready BMW i8 Concept that's nearly as fast as the 6 Series, offers all-wheel-drive-like driving, and delivers approximately 78 miles per gallon. On pure electric power alone, it can drive 20 miles!
